Air tightness leak detectors generally have direct pressure type, differential pressure type and flow type, etc. The detection system forms a pressure difference under vacuum or positive pressure conditions, and calculates the leakage by judging the change of pressure or flow. The standard leak hole is specially used for measuring the sensitivity or accuracy of the calibration leak detector or leak detection system. The standard leak hole can be connected in parallel with the leak detector or leak detection system. The leak detector system can identify the nominal leakage on the standard leak hole, and can simply and quickly determine the state of the leak detection system.
The principle of airtight standard leak hole is to use the throttle effect to achieve gas leakage. Specifically, when the gas passes through the leak hole, the flow rate of the gas will be limited to a certain extent due to the limitation of the aperture and the throttling effect, thereby realizing the leakage of the gas. By adjusting the size and aperture of the leak hole, the leakage rate and flow rate of the gas can be controlled to simulate different gas leakage situations.
